Paladin is my favorite class fantasy, but I don't want to be running around as the most common class. I am making a tank, so I can help my dad run dungeons and whatnot. I don't want to be outdpsing him all the time. My choices are either Paladin, Warrior, or Druid. I do not like DK fantasy. I hear that Paladin is the best in WotLK Classic but the most popular overplayed class. Is that right? For 5-man content, warriors are shaping up to be absolute top dogs. They don't have great mitigation because of the type of length of cooldowns they have (compared to DK/paladin), but with the right spec it looks like they'll have the highest damage and aoe threat, especially in the early game. There have been videos coming out of the beta of 70ish warriors soloing or during nexus and utgarde keep even in crap TBC gear. There will be a ton of paladins, paladins already make up the overwhelming majority of tanks in TBC, and I would bet many are carrying on to wrath. Druid and warrior will be the least-played class for tanks because they're the most off-meta (just as they were in TBC). Druid with sunwell-level gear has the ability to carry through 5-man content, but not as well as a warrior. So what would you roll to lead your father through the frozen wastes?
